The goal of my bachelor's thesis was to evaluate waste management system in the microregion Letovice. The microregion is located in the most northern part of Blansko district in South-Moravian region. In the beginning of my thesis, I was dealing with selected legal standards of the Czech Republic. The next section, was dealing with basic definitions in the waste management. The final part described the waste management in selected microregion Letovice. At the end of my thesis I conducted a discussion and evaluation of the whole bachelor thesis. Waste management system in the microregion is very good and it works well , based on good communication with the public.

Boundaries of waste: Etnography of collection yard

This diploma thesis examines the relationship between waste and people in the collection yard. The collection yard is used for the separate disposal of such waste, which due to its size or material cannot be stored in conventional bins. Because our society is focused on consumption and consumption, a lot of things are thrown away, but other people find them interesting or useful, so they take them out. However, nothing should be taken away from the collection yard, as the waste is not homeless, but is defined by property rights. At the same time, the main principle of waste management - the waste hierarchy states that before a thing becomes waste, it should be used differently. I therefore deal with how this concept of waste conditions the movement of things in the collection yard, how and by whom the removed waste can be used and what role the removal of waste plays in fulfilling the waste hierarchy. I decided to examine all this using anthropological methods, namely participatory observation at the collection yard and interviews with individual actors. Research has shown that things that could still serve someone are being thrown away unnecessarily at the collection yard. Waste Management and waste use of city Jilove u Prahy

This paper defines the basic concepts of waste management. With a focus on waste management of Jílové near Prague, it refers to possible shortcomings and proposes solutions along with improved overall efficiency of this activity. They were used facts and data from the city, which were then compared with current trends and one of similar cities in Germany. Marginally work deals with the awareness and interest of citizens in the municipality, using questionnaires. The solution we should provide such information to the village, which will serve to further decisions in the field of waste management and also help you keep up with current trends in comparison with waste management with a country that has over the Czech Republic in this area a considerable lead.

Waste management Karlovy Vary Airport

This bachelor's thesis on the subject of Waste Management at Karlovy Vary Airport is divided into three main parts. The first part presents literary research that comprehensively describes the given issues from the perspectives of the valid waste management legislation of the Czech Republic, the European Union, and Karlovy Vary County. The waste streams of the Czech Republic are described, as well as the existing obligations of treating them.
The second part of this thesis focuses on summarising the available information about Karlovy Vary Airport and its waste management. With the help of statistic indicators, the development of waste management in the studied period of 2008 2015 is analysed. The analysis centres on communal and hazardous waste, as well as animal and plant by-products and their handling.
The last part of the thesis is partly theoretical, comparing the waste management of the studied territory with other international airports, and includes suggestions for improving waste management as the number of passengers increases.

This bachelor thesis, named The Dump as a Centre of Complex Municipal Waste Treatment, deals in introduction part with municipal waste, statistic, methods of municipal waste handling and dumping. Next part of this thesis is about municipal waste handling in Přerov town. There is a description of a secondary raw material sorting house, a waste collection point and an operated waste dump S-OO3 Přerov -- Žeravice II. One part of this bachelor thesis is about comparing some methods of municipal waste handling by literature and by reality in Přerov. What is a dump protection against environment damages, what sorts of waste can or cannot be in the dump and how much of waste can be store there.

Assessment of Economical and Social Benefits of Selected Collection Yard

The bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of economical and social benefits of the collection yard in Klokoty, which is situated in the town of Tábor. The main aim was to identify the costs of all activities in this collection yard during the period of one year. Next aim was to analyze the quantities of each type of waste, that people give back to the collection yard. The there were described ways of waste disposal. Another aim was to determine profits from the sale of waste. Last aim was to evaluate overal situation of collection yard and give some suggestions.
